It has been a true joy to be able to capture the beauty of the world and the things I love as an artist, and artistic photographer for over 29 years.  I enjoy painting portraits of women, and beautiful things that evoke spirit and power.  I am the wife of a wonderful man and the mother of three fantastic girls.

Although I have been a student of the arts and have studied with a seasoned artist to develop my artistic skills, I feel that art has always been a constant journey throughout my lifetime. I have always been fascinated with the texture and impressionistic application techniques of the impressionistic masters like Monet & Vangogh.  Many of my original paintings on canvas are painted with a very wet oil paint technique, similar to watercolor or a fresco effect. 

I enjoy monochromatic hues of rusts and earth tones, but also love to go funky with my color schemes, especially in my mixed media pieces. When working on my mixed media pieces, I usually sketch and paint the artwork freehand and scan the work into the computer to further stylize and enhance the art resulting in a unique, modernized art piece.
